the tight drag-and-drop and context menu integration with Windows Explorer;

which makes it easy for those who know nothing about .zip archives.

R.P.M.-What can
be said about a .zip archiver with everything? This "bodacious" program
has an superb GUI, multi document interface (more than one zip file at
a time), the ability to create self-extracting files, drag-and-drop capability,
and an overall feel of excellence. It supports .zip archives and offers
standard zip/unzip capability. Isn't it great to get superior programming
for no money? It might be the only .zip archiver you'll ever
need!

STUFF IT EXPANDE-Need
a program to unzip those other archives that aren't .zip archives? StuffIt
Expander is a great choice. Basically, all you have to do is just drop
the encoded file into the window and it'll
show the archived files. Then unzip them! StuffIt Expander is a
useful freeware program that's good to have.
It supports these file types: .sit, .zip, .arj, .arc, .gz, .uue,
.hqx.

SUPER ZIP-Super
Zip is a great all-around zip utility. It has the standard zip and unzip
capabilities as well as a multi-disk spanning mode. Obviously, that can
be helpful for large files. The only problems with SuperZip are that the
file download size is over a megabyte and that it is advertiser supported.
In other words, an advertiser's banner is staring you in the face every
time you unzip stuff. Overall, though, this zip utility is worth it. It
supports the .zip file archives.
